 Lewisville is a community that provides moderate priced housing with easy access to business centers and superb schools.  Lewisville was originally settled in the 1840s, with the Lewisville Dam started in 1948 and completed in 1954, which was the beginning of the 30,000 acre Lewisville Lake.  Lewisville is a community of young, professional families, with 79.6% of the residents less than 45 years of age and the median age of 30 years.  The median household income in Lewisville is $54,771.  Lewisville is located on the southern shores of Lewisville Lake, has an abundance of undeveloped land.
